This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated May 21,1999, and the enclosed scenario for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station's emergency plan exercise scheduled for l
July _21 22,1999.

Based on'our review, we determined that the exercise scenario is sufficient to meet emergency l
plan requirements and exercise objectives. Minor questions were resolved during a June 28, 1999, telephone discussion with Messrs. Norman Hood and Robert Kidwell of your staff.

During our review we contacted Ms. Brenda Mosley at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Region VI: Ms. Mosley indicated that FEMA's comments had already been resolved.
