This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated May 21,1999, and the enclosed scenario

for the Comanche Peak Steam Electric Station's emergency plan exercise scheduled for l July _21 22,1999.

l l Based on'our review, we determined that the exercise scenario is sufficient to meet emergency l plan requirements and exercise objectives. Minor questions were resolved during a June 28,

! 1999, telephone discussion with Messrs. Norman Hood and Robert Kidwell of your staff.

l I. During our review we contacted Ms. Brenda Mosley at the Federal Emergency Management

! Agency (FEMA), Region VI: Ms. Mosley indicated that FEMA's comments had already been resolved.
