INTENT TO CHANGE LICENSE ANNEX i

On June 2,1999, Westinghouse Columbia Fuel Fabrication Facility (CFFF) Regulatory Management approved a project that will require a change to the License Annex submitted in support of the Plant Ventilation System Integrated Safety Assessment (TAC NO. L31180).

Project Description Remove moisture knockout pots, associated solenoid operated drain valves, drain lines, and air-operated damper valves in the 6-inch diameter duct vent lines of pellet grinder ventilation lines 1,2,3,4, and 5. Replace knockout pots with "Y"-type transition duct sections, and replace existing grinder hoods to facilitate 6-inch diameter ducting with 3-inch-by-12-inch hood exhaust openings (including creep restrictors).

Regulatory Review Project approved for startep and operation (by Manager, Regulatory Affairs).

Necessary changed pages to the License Annex for the Plant Ventilation System will be l

submitted on or before July 2,1999 for docketing.
