Dear Mr. Cruse:

Enclosed is a copy of a " Notice of Consideration of Approval of a Transfer of Facility Operating Licenses and Materials License and Opportunity for a Hearing"in response to an application dated November 10,1998, from the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (BGE). The application has been filed pursuant to Sections 50.80 and 72.50 of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, requesting approval of the indirect transfer of Operating License Nos.

DPR-53 and DPR-69 for the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant and License No. SNM-2505 for the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Insta!!ation to the extent such transfer would be affected by a proposed corporate restructuring of BGE.

This notice is being forwarded to the Office of the Federal Reoister for publication.
