License Chang,e Application 165 Attached are three signed originals and 40 conformed copies of License Change Application (LCA) 165 requesting amendment of Operating License NpF-1.
This LCA revises the Trojan Technical Specifications to remove the 3.5 weight
- wrcent Uranium-235 (U-235) enrichment limit on reactor fuel assemblies, and to increase the enrichment limit for the new fuel storage racks to 4.5 weight percent. An attachment to the LCA provides a reanalysis of the new fuel storage racks, which verifies that new fuel of up to 4.5 weight percent U-235 can be stored safely.
Storage racks in the spent fuel pool have already been analyzed for 4.5 weight percent U-235 fuel.
Also enclosed is a check for $150 in accordance with Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 170, and one signed copy of a Certificate of Service for LCA 165 to the chief executive of the county in which the facility is located and to the State of Oregon, Department of Energy.
