Dear Ms. Wright:

Manufacturing Sciences Corporation (MSC) is a new NRC Licensee with the RIS symbol ZOV. Recently MSC applied for and was ,

granted an export license allowing the shipment of material to Canada. Under the specific terms of NRC license number XUO8658, MSC may continue to ship to Canada until this license expires on December 31, 1992.

Due to MSC's inexperience with the application process, it is now necessary to request an amendment to the above mentioned license.

The existing license allows the ship'aent of 729 kilograms of depleted uranium, however, in order to meet estimated shipments of material through December 31, 1992, the quantity needs to be increased to 12,500 kilograms. This will allow us to conduct business in the future without applying for a new license.
