Report Month: February, 1988 NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES At the beginning of the month, the unit was operating at 100% power.

On 3 February, power was reduced to 75% tu perform turbine valve and excess flow check valve testing, and maintenance on "B" travelling water screen.

On 4 February, power was retur.ud to 100%.

Later on 4 February, power was reduced to 49% in order to isolate a leak in the main turbine control oil system.

Repairs to the turbine control cil system were complete and power was returned to 100% on 5 February.

On 29 February, power was reduced to 91% during the recovery of a dropped CEA and then returned to 100%

At the end of the month, the unit was operating at 100% power.
