Accident Sequence Precursor Analysis of Operation Event at LaSalle County Station, Units 1 and 2, dated July 3,1997 Comed has reviewed the subject document. We have no significant comments and endorse your overall methodology and conclusions.
i As noted in your analysis, Comed prepared a "PRA Report of the impact of Foam Sealant injection in the LaSalle County Nuclear Station Service Water Tunnel, j
September 23,1996". We should point out that certain modeling assurnptions and methodologies differ between the Comed results and those shown in the preliminary NRC analysis. The Comed assumptions and methodologies result in a minor reduction in the calculated conditional core damage probability of the event.
