NRC STAFF'S PROPOSED SCHEDULE FOR HEARINGS ON REMAINING REMAND ISSUES Pursuant to the Licensing Board's Memorandum and Order of February 8, 1988, requesting a proposed schedule for hearing all remaining issues, the parties have conferred in order to reach agreement on such a schedule. However, the parties have not been able to agree.

As a result, the NRC Staff wishes to present its own proposed schedule for hearing the remaining remand issues before this Board. This proposal is appended hereto as Attachment 1.

For the Board's information, the Staff has also appended its schedule for FEMA review of the recent revisions of the LILCO Plan, another FEMA-graded exercise of the plan as revised, and FEMA findings.

Attachment 2. This schedule also projects possible hearing-related dates, should there be litigation based on the projected FEMA-graded exercise.
