Enclosed is an application for an export license received recently by the NRC for low-enriched uranium for use as fuel in the Ikata Unit No. 2 nuclear power reactor in Japan. A letter of assurance is required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation.
