Dear Mr. Merschoff:
Enclosed is an application for license re-examination of Anthony Lee Morris. Mr. Morris failed the w1itten portion of the examination administered on September 11,1998. Since Mr. Morris passed the operating portion of his exam, we request that the operating portion of the re-examination be waived as discussed in the denial letter.
Mr. Morris has completed remedial training on the areas ofidentified weakness. We plan to l
_ administer the written re-examination the week of December 14,1998 and will coordinate exam i
administration with Mr. Pellet of your staff.
We require this license to meet the commitments in the Safety Analysis Reports for normal shift requirements, retraining, vacation relief, illness and unexpected job tumover. I certify that this individual has sound judgement, experience and trammg necessary to be a safe and competent operator.
