I NU U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Wast.ington, DC 20555 l

Dear Sir:

I am writing to you on behalf of the low power liscensing of Seabrook Station.

I have worked as a chemist in the nuclear industry for seven years. My training and skills have been repeatedly updated and polished.

I am now part of the finely tuned team of professionals at Seabrook Station awaiting liscensing.

I have also watched the power requirements of New England grow within those seven years. We can no longer depend on foreign oil from the Persian Gulf or electricity from Hydro-Quebec as a means of satisfying the Northeast's future energy needs.

The answer to this approaching crisis is Seabrook Station.

A favorable vote on the proposed clarification of emergency planning requirements and sub-sequent 5% liscense by the Commission will avert disaster and assure the power needs of New England and the Nation as a whole will be met for years to come.

Sincerely,f f.
