Dear Mr. Fitzgerald:
1 This letter confirms the upcoming Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) inspection of ABB-Combustion Engineering, Inc., on June 30 through July 1,1999, as discussed during a June 22,1999, telephone conversation between yourself and Bill Rogers of this office.
The inspection will review selected portions of your quality assurance program, and its implementation, as it relates to the qualification and supply of safety-related electrical connectors, and associated replacement parts and services, to the nuclear industry. We expect to conduct an entrance meeting at your offices at 8:30 am on June 30,1999.
