CONTRACT NO. NRC-08-97 302, TASK ORDER NO. 4, ENTITLED, "CUAEPP l&C SAFETY REVIEW TRAINING PROGRAM"- MODIFICATION NO. 2
Dear Mr. Kellogg:
The purpose of this modification is to extend the period of performance for the subject task order through December 31,1999, at no additional cost or obligation to the Government, to accommodate a delay in performance of the effort. This delay was due to the necessary postponement of the workshop to be held in Sofia, Bulgaria, because of the unstable situation in nearby Kosovo. This delay was not due to the fault of the Contractor. Accordingly, the task order is hereby modified to read as follows:
The first sentence of paragraph 2 of the definitization letter is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:

" Task Order No. 4 shall be in effect from June 29,1998,though December 31,1999, with j
a cost ceiling of $89,494."
All other terms and conditions of the subject task order remain unchanged.
A summary of obligations frorn the award date through the date of this action are provided below:

$89,494.00 Please indicate your acceptance of this Modification No. 2 to Task Order No. 4 by having an official authorized to bind your organization execute three copies of this document, by signing in the space provided, and return two copies to the Contract Specialist. This action satisfies RFPA dated 5/27/99 requesting a no-cost extension to TO 4.
The delay in performance of this TO was due to the postponement of the workshop in Sofia. It was undesirable to hold the workshop in Ssfia because the unstable situation in nearby Kosovo posed a danger to attendees. Another location will be chosen upon consultation with the attendees. There are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the workshop, which will be held prior to 12/31/99. No other effort is required under this task order.
