Enclosed is an application (two pages) for a license (XSNM03089), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of low-enriched uranium, in various forms to Taiwan as reload fuel in the Chinshan 1 and 2 and Kuosheng 1 and 2 nuclear power reactors.
Assurances from Taiwan'are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining the necessary assurances will be appreciated.
