Box 222 03042 Secretary of the Comission f0CNNIL 5 Attn: Docketing and Service-3 ranch OR '

U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Comission Washington, D.C. 20555 Gentlemen:

As a concerned resident of the State of New Hampshire I am writing to voice my approval of the proposed clarification of planning requirements.

I live in close proximity to Seabrook Station and believe the low inventory of fission products during 5% testing would not require imediate notification of the public. This topic, along with others associated with nucicar power, have become political rather than technical issues. It is about time the NRC pushes the technical side to the forefront, where it should be. A positive vote on the notification f- vould be a step in this direction.

Thu.tk you for chance to coment on the issue before you.
