Secretary of the Commission Attn:
Docketing and Service Branch U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D.C.
20555 Gentlemen, I am writing to you to express my support for the current NRC proposal which would clarify your agency's intent with regards to emergency notification and low-power licensing.
My support is connected to the complete but idle nuclear power plant at Seabrook, N.H.
The plant owners had prepared and implemented an emergency warning system for the six communities in Massachusetts near the plant, and then saw public officials force the system's removal.
The owners have now come up with an alternative system and have gone the "extra mile" to protect the public health and safety.
Please don't penalize Seabrook for political actions taking place in Massachusetts --
please adopt your proposal, and let Seabrook begin low power testing.
Sincerely,
[
