Request for alternative routing for shipment of spent TRIGA fuel.
Your reference SGTB:CRH 05000294010R (Sept. 12, 1988)
Dear Sir:
In connection with the fuel shipment routing approved in the above referenced document, it now appears an alternate destination may be requested by the Department of Energy (owners of the fuel).
It is requested that an alternate routing be approved as follows:
1.
Starting at Cheyenne, Wyoming, south on I-25 to Denver Colorado.
2.
Exit 1-25 at 6th Avenue (Ext: 209) west to the U.S. Geologic Survey TRIGA reactor at the Denver Federal Center.
Your assistance in approving this alternate route would be greatly appreciated.
