ORDER SUSPENDING LICENSES (EFFECTIVE INMEDIATELY)^
This is to inform the Comission that an Order Suspending Licenses (Effective Imediately) is being issued today to the above firms and Mr. Larsen. This
- action is based on an NRC investigation of Mr. Larsen's'NRC-licensed activities

- to date which. indicate that Mr. Larsen, individually, and the above firms, which he is the awrier of and/or principal of, has failed to fulfill comitments made i
on behalf of his firms to the NRC, has made contradictory. statements to NRC and the State of Utah authorities, and his firms have processed uranium in an unsafe manner with inadequate controls and resulting contamination. These actions demonstrate an unwillingness to comply with NRC regulatory requirements and safe work practices which cannot be tolerated. Accordingly, pending the results of the investigation and further order of the NRC, the general licensee authorization for Mr. Larsen, as well as the named licensees, to receive and use NP.C licensed material under their respective general licenses is being
. suspended, effective imediately.
Under the terr:s of the Order, the licensee may, within 20 days of receipt of the Order, file a written answer under oath or affirmation and may also request a hearing. However, a written answer or request for a hearing will not stay i
