,r' Gentlemen:

This letter is t'o inform the ccanission of my personal opinion of the proposed clarification of emerency planning requirements for low-power licenses to make clear that off site emergency sirens are not required during low power

.rescing.

As a life long resident of New Hampshire, and an employee at Seabrook Station

.,,g I urge yop to adopt the rule change. New Hampshire Yankee placed sirens in y

Massachusetts, but the New Eampshire Yankee was ordered to remove the sirens

6 from Massachusetts.

The sirens were removed for political reasons, NOT for safety reasons.

When Seabrook Station is given 100% power license I will still 57 a resident of New Hampshire and a customer of Public Service Company of New Hampshire.

l Sincerely, l

John P. Weymouth
