Reference (a) was our response to NRC Bulletin 88-01. Reference (b) requested a

schedule for, and description of, corrective actions for breaker inspection failures reported in Reference (a).
Thirty-nine breakers on Unit 2 and zero on Unit I were shown in Reference (a) as needing corrective action. Nine of these Unit 2 breakers have had their pole shafts replaced. Thirty more breakers will have their pole shafts replaced during their next normal presentive maintenance, or by the end of the next Unit 2 refueling outage at the latest. The end of that outage is estimated to be hiny 30, 1989.
