Proposed Rule on Emergency Planning
Dear Mr. Chilk:
I have lived in New Hampshire for over five years and have watched this area of the country grow with leaps and bounds.
In addition to this growth.
I have watched the ' anti-nukes' bring Shorham to its knees and they are trying the same thing with Seabrook.
For the Comission to let this happen is deplorable, especially when you consider that this whole charade is strictly political.
On that note, I would itke to state that I strongly support the Proposed Rule change regarding emergency planning as it relates to icw power testing and the public notification system.
I urge imediate implementation of the rule change so that Seabrook can receive its low power license and conduct their low power testing.
Furthermore, I would like to state that as a taxpayer and future recipient of the power Seabrook SHOULD produce, it is imperative that the Comission expedite the hearing process for the Massachusetts Emergency Plan and license Seabrook as soon as possible.
Politics should not be an issue here.
The Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) does not have any rule for ' political i
involvement.' Seabrook Station has met all of the rules and regulations required to operate and produce the much needed power in New England.
Implement the proposed rule, expedite the Massachusetts hearing, and LICENSE SEABROOK!
