Dear Mr. Minnaar:
This is in response to your letter dated July 7,1998, requesting technical assistance for an improved understanding of the behavior of airbome radiciodines potentially released from a reactor accident. It was determined that the issue you raised in your letter would best be addressed by responders who are members of the Federal Radiological Monitoring and Assessment Center (FRMAC), which is whe,; anvironmental data are analyzed. As a result, your request was forwarded to FRMAC for review and disposition.
Representatives from FRMAC agreed that the FRMAC manuals would be revised to address the issue you raised. I am enclosing a copy of the FRMAC reply for your information.
