STAFF RESPONSE TO INTERVENORS' MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME TO Fil.F BRIEF On February 5, 1988, the Intervenors filed a Motion for a short extension of time to file their brief in response to Lit.CO's appeal of the Licensing Board's Par tial initial Decision of December 7,
1987 (LBP 07-37).
The NRC Staff does not oppose the motion provided the Staff's time is similarly extended.
LlLCO's appeal raises important issues.
The Staff y culd like time to review and consider the Intervenors' brief.
Section 2.762 of 10 C.F.R. In effect provides that the Staff shall have 10 days after c,the r parties reply to a brief on tppeal to file its reply.
Therefore, the Staff does not oppose the subject metion provided its time to reply is extended to March ',1988.
