Dear Ms. Bauman:
This is in response to your letter dated October 24, 1988, in which you I
appealed Mr. Donnie H. Grimsley's response dated October 12, 1988.
Mr. Grimsley's response denied portions of one record subject to your Freedom
[
of Information Act (FOM) request for copies of all records related to the i
June 1988 inspection of H and G Inspection Company and the findings that no violations were observed during the inspection.
You specifically appealed the denial of portions of the record identified on the enclosed Appendix B of Mr. Grimsley's response dated October 12, 1988.
Acting on your appeal, I have carefully reviewed the record in this case and have determined that the previously withheld information will continue to be L
withheld from public disclosure. Therefon, your appeal is denied. The withheld portions of the record consist of names of two individuals which will continue to be withheld from public disclosure pursuant to Exemption (6) of th:!
FOIA (5 U.S.C. 552(b)(6)) and 10 CFR 9.17(a)(6) of the Comission's regulations.
J l am unable to identify any legitimate public interest in the release of the individuals' names which outweighs the privacy interests of the individuals.
