Enclosed is an application for an export license (XSNM03063), recently received by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, for the export of low-enriched umnium, for use as reload fuel in the Ohi Unit 1 Nuclear Power Reactor in Japan. Assurances from Japan are required that the material will be subject to all of the terms and conditions of an agreement for cooperation. Your assistance in obtaining tire necessary assurances will be appreciated.
