Dear Mr. Berkow:
Effective 1 February 1988 there will be a change in the administration of the NSCR as presently described in 6.1.1 of the Technical Specifications to License R-83.
l The position of Head, Nuclear Engineering Research will be replaced by a recently established position titled Director, Nuclear Research Reactor Programs.
Both are positions within the Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES).
The change to 6.1.1 (page 46) of the Technical Specifications is attached and mailing and tele-phone information for the Director, Texas Engineering Experiment Station (R-83 licensee), the Director, Nuclear Research Reactor Programs, and the Director, I

A.' Reuscher joined. the. Texas Engineering : Experiment. Station as Director, Nuclear Research Reactor Programs in Septerrber 1986 and is also on the faculty of-the Department of Nuclear Engineering.
He has considerable-research reactor administration experience having served as Manager of the research reactor program at - the. Sandia National Laboratory, Albuquerque, New Mexico for
- 21 years. where he directed -the activities of '3 research.-reactor types..
D r '. Reuscher will direct programs for reactor power and facility upgrade, the development of new research capabilities, and increased utilization of the NSCR.
