By our letter SL-4065, dated January 29, 1988, Georgia Power Company (GPC) requested a temporary one time exemption to certain provisions of 10CFR50.46.
In subsequent telephone conversations with NRC Staff personnel, it was suggested that a revision to the proposed value of the overall peaking factor (F ) would be appropriate.
GPC hereby revises the commitment in SL-4565 to Q
administratively control FQ to reflect a value of 2.25 vice the originally proposed value of 2.28.
This additional lowering in Fo results in additional margin to the Peak Claddin~.amperature (PCT) limit discussed in the prior letter SL-4065.
