- .GR members and staff of our progress in reviewing the Requirements Document, The DSERs on Chapters 1 and 2 were sent to John Zerbe of your office on September 30, 1987 and February 18, 1988, respectively. Chapter 5 "Engineered Safety Features," is presently being reviewed and we are expecting to issue the DSER on Chapter 5 early this Fall. This effort will continue until the final SER is issued in 1991.
Should CRGR desire further information about our review, we will be pleased to discuss it with them.

Kintner, Chairman of the ALWR Utility Steering Committee, dated May 13 and June 10, 1988, forwarding the staff's Draft SERs on Chapters 3 and 4 of EPRI's ALWR Utility Requirements Document. These copies are being provided to inform the CRGR meinbers and staff of our progress in reviewing the Requirements Document.
The DSERs on Chapters 1 and 2 were sent to John Zerbe of your office on September 30, 1987 and February 18,'1988, respectively.
Chapter 5 "Engineered Safety Features," is presently beirt reviewed and we are expecting to issue the DSEP on Chapter 5 early this Fall.
