COMANCHE PEAK STEAM ELECTRIC STATION (CPSES)

DOCKET NOS. 50-445 AND 50-446 FEEDWATER SPLIT-FLOW BYPASS VALVES SDAR: CP-88-29 (SUPPLEMENTAL REPORT)

Gentlemen:

On April 22, 1988, TV Electric notified the NRC by our letter logged TXX-88384 of a deficiency involving a feedwater design modification which was not incorporated into the FSAR Chapter 15 accident analysis. Our last report on this issue was logged TXX-88761 dated October 31, 1988.

The purpsse of this supplemental report is to revise the corrective action implementation schedule.

Qualification of the feedwater split-flow bypass valve is continuing and will be complete by March 3, 1989.
