INITIAL PERFORMANCE INDICATOR DATA SUBMITTAL FOR THE REVISED REACTOR OVERSIGHT PROCESS PILOT PROGRAM - MAY 1999 REPORT The May 1999 performance indicator (PI) data report for the Revised Reactor Oversight Process Pilot Program is attached. This report constitutes the first monthly Pl data submittal from pilot plant licensees, which includes data through the first quarter (10) 1999 (i.e., March 1999), for the 13 units at the 9 pilot sites. For each of the 13 pilot units, the data will be presented in tabular form for each indicator, with a trend chart of the data. Each monthly report will include data through the previous month, and will be presented quarterly. For example, the June 1999 report will include data through May 1999 (i.e., two-thirds of 2099), and the July 1999 report will include data through June 1999 (i.e., complete 2099).
Hard copies of monthly reports will be placed in the Public Document Room, and current plans are to post the pilot plant Pi data on the NRC Extemal Web Page starting with either the July 4
or August 1999 submittals. Upon completion of the pilot program and fullimplementation of the Revised Reactor Oversight Process, Pi data will be reported from all reactor licensees on a quarterly basis, and will be made publicly available through both the Public Document Room and the NRC External Web Page.
