1) Revise Atticle IV, "Division of Responsibility;"
2) Revise Article V, "Consideration and Payment," to provide CY 1988 funds of $3,800.00 and to reduce the contract ceiling amount by $26,000.00, from $123,850.00 to S97,850.00;
3) Revise Article VII, "Availability of Data;" 4)

Incorporate Revised Attachment A, "Statement of Work;" 5)

Incorporate revised Attachment 1, "Environmental Radiological Verification Monitoring Program Around Nuclear Power Stations;" and 6)

Delete Attachment 2 "Detection Capabilities for Environmental Sample Analyses," Attachment 3, "Name of Facility," and Attachment 4, "Description of Services Rendered of Attachment A," in their entirety. Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:

Article IV - Division of Responsibility is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

"Article IV - Division of Responsibility In the performance of work under this cooperative agreement, the division of responsibility shall be as follows:

a.

At the request of the Commission, the State will conduct offsite activities which shall consist of exchanging dosimeters for measuring radiation levels, as specified in Attachment A.

b.

The Commission will participate with the State in developing schedules, collection procedures, and other aspects of the program.

c.

The State will prepare and submit to the NRC Reaion IV office a report comparing the colocated TLD data -in a time sequence as specified in Attachment A."

2.

Article V - Consideration and Payment is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

"Article V - Consideration and Payment Consideration 1.

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will provide funds to the State in the amount of $97,850.00 during the coriract period of performance.

The rate of payment to the State for CY 1988 effort will be as follows:

CY 19c? TLD Monitoring Program - $1,900.00 per site per year.

2.

The State will contribute an amount of in kind services which will lead to successful completion of the TLD program.

3.

The amount presently obligated by the NRC with respect to this cooperative agreement for the CY 1988 effort is $3,800.00.

The total amount obligated under this cooperative agreement since its inception is hereby increased by $3,800.00, from

$94,050.00 to $97,850.00.

The agreement is fully funded.

Paragraph 1 of Article VII - Availability of Data is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

"Article VII - Availability of Data Any and all data collected, pursuant to this cooperative agreement by either party alone or jointly, shall be available in full to the other party. All data collected by the State, pursuant to this cooperative agreement, shall be sent to the NRC Region IV Office, 611 Ryan Plaza Drive, Suite 100, Arlington, Texas 76011, ATTN: Regional Administrator."

Attachment A - Statement of Work is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted with the' attached revised Attachment A in lieu thereof.

5. - Environmental Radiological Verification Monitoring Program of Attachment A is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted with the attached revised Attachment 1 in lieu thereof.
6. - Detection Capabilities for Environmental Sample Analyses, - Name. of Facility and Attachment 4 - Description of Services Rendered of Attachment A are hereby deleted in their entirety.

All other terms and conditions of this cooperative agreement remain unchanged.
