Incident No PAL-88-06-NC130 is submitted as a report of an apparent difference from the daily maximum effluent limitations for this facility.

Date of Incident: June 16,1988 2.
Identification af Specific Effluent Limitation or Monitoring Requirement Affected:
Daily Maximum Limit of 0.2 mg/l TRC 3.
Description of Incident:
During routine chlorination of the A Cooling Tower, a higher than normal amount of sodium hypochlorite was inadvertently added resulting in the TRC at the discharge rising to 0.3 mg/1.

Apparent Cause:
The sodium hypochlorite flowmeter indicated 1/2 gallon per minute when the actual flow was in excess of 2 gpm.
