Replacement Operator Examinations
Dear Mr. Davis:
Toledo Edison is committed to making the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station one of the best power plants in the country.
As part of our commitment to excellence, we are striving to achieve a sixth operating shif t and implement a Shif t Manager Progratn.
In order to achieve these goals, a heavy reliance is being placed on replacement operator exauinations.
Several programs are currently in place which have increased the number of candidates for replacement operator examinations. The first such program, with a scheduled examination date of May 16, 1988, consists of 14 Senior Reactor Operator candidates and 2 Reactor Operator candidates.
l Mr. Tim Reidinger, lead NRC examiner for Davis-Besse, has been notified of this examination date and the number of candidates which are expected to sit for the exaus.
