Dear Mr. Arthur:
We have reviewed Modification No. 1 to the Remedial Action Plan for the Salt Lake City site, transmitted by your letters dated April 5,1983 and May 19, 1988._ In general, we find that the proposed 400-foot extension of the tailings emL a kment is acceptable. Upon our receipt of the appropriate signature page, we will execute our concurrence.
