LETTER OF APPRECIATION FOR THE OUTSTANDING EFFORTS DURING THE INITIAL REVIEW OF THE GOVEPJiMENT ACCOUNTABILITY PROJECT'S ALLEGATIONS RELATED TO THE SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT On behalf of Jose Calvu and myself, I want to express our appreciction to each one of you for your outstanding effor's in completing the initial review of the Government Accountability Pro,tect's GAP) allegations related to the South TexasPr$jectfacility.

The reviw effort was a sajor undertahing in that approximately 700 allegations j

were evaluated for safety significance, combined into groups of similar concetns, rewrittsn to characterize the concerns, and entered into a computarized data base during a two week perwJ.

We particularly appreciate your initiative and tuiacity in accomplishing this l

issk in such a :.hort period of time.

Although tne efforts of everyone involved were outstanding, Paul O'Connor, Prodect Manager for this assignmer.t. deserves special recognition for his unrelenting efforts and hard work (which included many hours of voluntary overtime) that significantly contributed in bringing EUIkBBt 07 M
