1' The purpose of this letter is to request an extension in reporting the results of fastener testing required by NRC Compliance Bulletin 87-02 "Fastener Testing to Determine Conformance with Applicable Material Specifications".
The required sample of fasteners has been selected and sent to a
vendor for chemical, mechanical' and hardness testing as specified in the Bulletin.
- However, we have not received the results of the testing from the vendor as of this time.
Therefore,-we request an extension until
-February 15, 1988 for submitting the results of fastener testing and other information as requested by the Bulletin.
