The Nuclear Regulatory Consission (NRC) published a proposed rule on fitness-for-duty (10 CTR 26) in the Federal Register on September 22, 1988, and invited consents by Novembcr 21, 1988. Georgia Power Company (GPC) attended the NUNARC workshop on fitness-for-duty on October 20, 1988, and participated in the development of the NUMARC comments on the proposed rule. Based on our participation in the workshop and in accordance with the advance rulemaking request for public comments, GPC
