1 The Nuclear Regulatory Consission (NRC) published a proposed rule on fitness-for-duty (10 CTR 26) in the Federal Register on September 22, 1988, and invited consents by Novembcr 21, 1988. Georgia Power Company ,

(GPC) attended the NUNARC workshop on fitness-for-duty on October 20, 1988, and participated in the development of the NUMARC comments on the proposed rule. Based on our participation in the workshop and in '

accordance with the advance rulemaking request for public comments, GPC [

hereby endorses the NUMARC comments to be submitted to the NRC on l November 18, 1988.
