1999 ALL AGREEMENT STATES MEETING The 1999 All Agreement States Meeting will be held September 8-10,1999, at the Renaissance Hotel,9721 Arboretum Boulevaro, Austin, Texas 78759. Attached, is a flier from the hotel with specific information on rates and reservations.

We would appreciate your assistance in identifying specific agenda topics or areas that should be covered during the meeting, We would also appreciate your identifying, if possible, representatives from your staff or Agreement States who could address these items, participate in panel discussions or conduct presentations. I have identified below, several tentative topics for your consideration:

1. Risk informed performance based 6. Clearance rulemaking and 40.13(a) material regulation. 7. Orphan Sources.
2. National Materials Program. 8. Decommissioning Standard Review Plan.
3. Industrial radiography c.crtification. 9. Generally Licensed Device Regulation.
4. SS&D BPR and IMPEP Criteria. 10. Privatization of DOE Contractors.
5. NMED reporting of materials events. 11. Implementation 10 CFR Part 35.

We would appreciate your response by June 30,1999.
