DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT OF REMEDIAL ACTION AT THE SPOOK URANIUM MILL TAILINGS SITE. SP0OK, WYOMING. REVIEW As requested, we have performed a review of the geotechnical engineering dspects of the report on Draft Environmental Assessment of Remedial Action at the Spook site. Based on review of the information presented in the draft EA, we have no geotechnical engineering concern:, related to environmental assessment of the proposed actions at the Spook site. The radon flux emanating from the stabilized tailings pile complies with the EPA Standards for UMTRCA projects. Also, the radon flux emanating from the AML cover material, if placed as per the proposed design, will comply with the EPA 6tandards.
Therefore, we have no conrents on this draft EA report.
