REVISION 14, AND EMERGENCY PLAN IMPLEMENTING PROCEDURE OSC-1, REVISION 29
Dear Mr. Gambhir:
This letter acknowledges receipt of your letter dated October 26,1998, which transmitted changes to the Fort Calhoun Station Emergency Plan, Revision 14, and Emergency Plan Implementing Procedure OSC-1, Emergency Classification, Revision 29, under the provisions of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section V.
Based on your determination that the changes do not decrease the effectiveness of your emergency plan and that it continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of Appendix E to 10 CFR Part 50, NRC approval is not required. Implementation of these changes will be subject to inspection to confirm that they have not decreased the effectiveness of your emergency plan.
Revision 29 to EPIP OSC-1 contained unchanged Ernergency Action Levels (EALs) which were
]
revised in Revision 27 of this procedure issued on April 29,1997. These EALs were discussed in Section P8.1 of NRC inspection Report 50-285/99-03.
