In a "05000321/LER-1986-015, :on 860331,isolation of RHR Reactor Shutdown Cooling Suction Inboard Primary Containment Isolation Valve [[SSC" contains a listed "[" character as part of the property label and has therefore been classified as invalid. Occurred.Caused by Inadequate Procedure.Procedure 57SV-SUV-007-1S Will Be Revised|letter dated April 30, 1986]], the NRC requested that Georgia Power Company (GPC) review, and modify as necessary, the NRC Regulatory Information Tracking System Facility Implementation plant-specific list which was enclosed with the letter.
The NRC further requested that the updated information be provided by May 31, 1986 Georgia Power Company performed a
preliminary review of the plant-specific list and determined that it would not be possible to fully i
respond by May 31, 1986, due to several factors, including the following:
1.
In several instances, the identification of the items being tracked by the NRC was not possible.
Therefore, we request that the NRC provide additional descriptive information for the items in question so that an accurate understanding of each item can be achieved.

In some cases, we'are un2ertain as to the NRC activities that were " completed."
Until these activities can be identified, we will be unable to provide meaningful input.
3.
To assure that the status of each listed item is as accurate as possible, we are verifying our information by reviewing related correspondence and our status-tracking information, g0

Page Two In a series of telephone conversations between Mr. Rivenbark of the NRC and Mr. Heidt of GPC (during the weeks of May 12 and 19,1986), the aforementioned difficulties were discussed, and agreement was reached on the following actions:
a.
By the original submittal date of May 31, 1986, GPC will provide preliminary input to the NRC, closing as many of the items as possible, b.
In addition, GPC will provide a schedule which will indicate the date for responding to the remaining items.
In references to item (a) above, we are enclosing a markup of the plant-specific list which reflects the individual status of the various items.
Each item's status is based upon information that was easily retrieved from our files and upon our interpretation of the activity to which the item pertains.
Because of the nature of the NRC's request and dissimilar tracking systems, we cannot verify the accuracy of the information provided to the NRC.
In reference to item (b), we feel that we can provide responses to the remaining items by June 30, 1986, assuming that, with your aid, we can accurately identify the items and associated activities.
