CNWRA Program Manager's Periodic Report on Activities of the Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses for Period 1-FY1999

Dear Mr. Linehan:

The attached " Program Manager's Periodic Report"(PMPR) documents the progress and financial status of the Center for Nuclear Waste Regulatory Analyses (CNWRA) for the period September 26-October 23, 1998. Its contents comply with the requirements of section F.1.5. of the referenced contract. A diskette containing the PMPR in Wordperfect 8 format is also enclosed.

Cost variance analyses are provided for the Division of Waste Management (D1035), Tank Waste Remediation System (J5164), Three Mile Island Unit 2 Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (J5186),

Dry Transfer System (J5206), Centralized Interirn Storage Facility (D1035), Private Fuel Storage Facility (J5226), and Savannah River Site Aluminum-Based Spent Fuel (J5210) Job Codes (JCs), as well as for composite spending on this contract. All variances are expressed with regard to the current operations plans.

During period 1, the addition of an intermediate milestone is introduced in table 2. Four deliverables were transmitted as indicated in table 3.
