At 1415 on 5/3/99, the Plant Shift Superintendent was notified that a security infraction had occurred at the C-335 buildinI

.htermined that one uncieared construction employee was not properly escorted when he left the building to use a portable re l

outside the building. The uncleared worker was without an escort for a short duration. The uncleared employee was in an area th:y did not have access to any classified information. No compromise of classified information occurred.

This event is reportable as "any infractions, losses, compromises, or possible compromise of classified information Or classified documents not falling within 10CFR95.57(a)". It is being logged per 10CFR95.57(b) (Exemption).

At 1940 CDT, on 5/6/99, the Plant Shift Superintendent was notified of a security infraction that had occurred in the C-720 building.

At 1130 CDT on 5/18/99, the Plant Shift Superintendent was notified that a security infraction had occurred at the C-710 building on 9/10/99. The security infraction occurred when the end of the workday check of a classified repository in C-710 was not performed and

.ogged. The classified repository was locked but the check was not performed. This infraction was recognized by a C-710 employee who was attending custodian training on 5/18/99. No compromise of classified information occurred.

This event is reportable as "any infractions, fosses, compromises, or possible compromise of classified information or classified documents not falling within 10CFR95.57(a)*. It is being logged per 10CFR95.57(b) (Exemption).

The NRC resident inspector has been notified of this event.

At 1420 COT, on 5-25-99, the Plant Shift Superintendents office was notified that two documents marked Secret-Restricted were found in a Classified safe. Security reviewed and determined the documents to be Unclassified and they were downgraded appropriately.

These documents were not in the accountability system. This is an infraction of the Classified Matter Security Plan. No compromise of cittsified information occurred.
