SUBJECT:
PROPOSED REVISION TO THE NRC ENFORCEMENT POLICY The Division of Low-Level Waste Management and Deconuissioning (LLWM) does not presently have any consents on the proposed revision to the NRC enforcement policy dated June 10,198B. However, the LLWM staff has noted the absence of specific enforcement requirements for low-level waste disposal in the present version of the subject document. The staft plans to develop suggested changes to 10 CFR Part 2, Appendix C to include such requirements which could be incorporated in a future revision. We will make sure to coordinate this effort with Jim Lieberman.
