50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) UNITS 1 AND 2 - INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-327/88-24 AND 50-328/88 APPENDIX R As stated in my letter to NRC dated May 23, 1988, TVA is providing proprietary and nonproprietary versions of two analyses related to the SQN 10 CFR 50, Appendix R program.
These analyses were attachments 1 and 2 of the enclosure to the May 23, 1988 letter. of this submittal contains a copy of attachment 1 "Analysis Following Loss of Normal RCS Letdown and Boric Acid Makeup," (PROPRIETARY] and attachment 2 "Appendix R Reactivity Calculations,"
(PROPRIETARY). contains a complete copy of the May 23, 1988 submittal (NONPROPRIETARY) for placement in the public document room.
Provided in enclosure 3 are a Westinghouse Electric Corporation authorization letter (CAW-88-056), a proprietary information notice, and an accompanying affidavit.
Because these analyses contain information proprietary to Westinghouse, it is supported by an afildavit signed by Westinghouco, the owner of the information. The affidavit sets forth the basis on which the information may be withheld from public disclosure by the Commission and addresses with specificity the considerations listed in paragraph (b) (4) of section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
Accordingly, it is respectfully requested that the information, which is proprietary to Westinghouse, be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
Correspondence with respect to the proprietary aspects of the application for withholding or the supporting Westinghouse Affidavit should reference CAW-88-056 and should be addressed to R. A. Wiesemann, Manager of Regulatory &
