INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT NO. NRC-10-97-149, MODIFICATION NO. 2, TO THE INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT ENTITLED " USE OF SPACE UNDER DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY.'S LEASE IN THE HILLSHIRE FACILITY" The purpose of this modification is to (1) correct Modification #1 obligated amount to reflect

$21,724.29, (2) to modify the space configuration in the leased space in accordance with the attached Statement of Work and (3) to add funds in the amount of $10,424.75 which increases the total obligated amount from $21,724.29 to $32,149.04 to accomplish this modification.

A summary of obligations for this Interagency Agreement, from award date through the date of this action is given below:

g STATEMENT OF WORK

Perform the following work at the Division of High Level Waste, Las Vegas Office 2" floor Extend the walls in the High Level Waste office to the slab to reduce audio transfer. If air flow is needed, install baffled ducts to provide sound attenuation.

Replace the door on the north wall that is not being used by gypsum wall board to reduce audio transfer.

SCOPE OF WORK:

1. Remove ceiling tiles and grid.

2. Build exis"'g wall to underside of roof deck. Insulate, sheet rock two sides, fire tape.

3. Install tw 1 st r/d metal ducts in wall for air flow.

4. Reinstall ceiling grid and tile.

5. All work to be done during normal working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

6. Contractor shall furnish plans and permit.

Exclusions:

1. No electrical

2. No painting

3. No moving of furniture, file cabinets, etc.

4. No prevailing wage rates included f
