NRC-26-96-261 Modification No. 9 Page 2 of 3 The purpose of this modification is to:
1.
obligate FY 99 funds in the amount of $60,000.00, thereby increasing the obligated amount of the subject contract from $522,976.00 to $582,976.00.
2.
revise the Statement of Work to allow for presentation of the Power Plant Engineering Course to NRC staff located in Rockville, Maryland without increasing the firm-fixed price of the course presentation in accordance with Federal Acauisition Clause 52.243-1.
Channes-Fixed Price-Alternate 111 and, Sonalysts Inc., letter dated, October 20,1998, which is made a part hereof. Course scheduling shall be accomplished in accordance with Subsection G.2, Ordering Procedures and Subsection 1.3 Ordering, of the contract.

provide for a key personnel change in accordance with Subsection H.2 - NRCAR 2052.215 Key Personnel of the subject contract. The change is hereby incorporated under this contract as proposed by Sonalysts, Inc., in their letter dated, April 8,1998, which is made a part hereof.
Accordingly, the contract is hereby modified as follows:
(1)
Under Subsection B.4, Consideration and Obligation - Delivery Orders (JUN 1988)
Paragraph b is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
"(b)
The amount presently obligated with respect to this contract is $582,976.00. The Contracting Officer may issue orders for work up to the amount presently obligated. This obligated amount may be unilaterally increased from time to time by the Contracting Officer by written modification to this contract. The obligated amount shall, at no time, exceed the contract ceiling as specified in paragraph a above. When and if the amount (s) paid and payable to the Contractor hereunder shall equal the obligated amount, the Contractor shall not be obligated to continue performance of the work unless and until the Contracting Officer shall increase the amount obligated with respect to this contract. Any work undertaken by the Contractor in excess of the obligated amount specified above is done so at the Contractor's sole risk."
(2)
Under Subsection C.3.1a, entitled, " Power Plant Engineering Course," the third paragraph is deleted in its entirety and the following is substituted in lieu thereof:
