Page 2 of 3 The Government hereby exercises Option Year Five to extend the term of the contract for six additional months, through May 31,1999, in accordance with Subsections F.5 - DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD (MAR 1987) ALTERNATE 3 (MAR 1987) 1.6 - 52.217-7 OPTION FOR INCREASED QUANTITY-SEPARATELY PRICED LINE ITEM (MAR 1989), and 1.3 - 52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (MAR 1989). Work during this period shall be performed as specified under subsection C.3 - SCOPE OF WORK of this contract and in accordance with Subsection B.3 - ITEMS AND PRICES, FIFTH OPTION PERIOD - DEC 1, 1998 - MAY 31,1999, CLINs 501 and 502.

By letter dated October 26,1998, the Contractor waived the requirement for a 60 day preliminary notice of the Govemment's intent to extend the term of the contract and to provide for increased quantity of a separately priced line item.

l As a result of the above action, the ceiling amount of this contract is hereby increased by

$131,268.00 from $1,890,972.55 to $2,022,240.55. FY99 funds in the amount of $131,268 are hereby obligated increasing the obligated amount of this contract from $1,890,972.55 to

$2,022,240.55.

Accordingly, the following changes are hereby made:

1. Under Subsection B.4 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION-DELIVERY ORDERS (JUN 1988), the first sentences in paragraphs (a) and (b) are hereby deleted in their entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof:

"B.4 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION-COST PLUS FlXED FEE (JUN 1988)

ALTERNATE I (JUN 1991)

(a) The total estimated amount of this contract (ceiling) for CLINs i 001a,003,101a,103,201a,203,301a,303,401a, and 403 is $832,325.55.

(b) The amount presently obligated with respect to the items listed above is

$832,325.55."

l 2. Subsection B.5 CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION-FIRM FIXED PRICE (JUN 1988) l is hereby deleted in its entirety and substituted with the following in lieu thereof>
