Docket Nos. 70-7001 & 70-7002 Annual Occupational Exposure Report Required by 10 CFR 20.2206 INFORMATION TRANSMITTED WITHIN CONTAINS CONFIDENTIAL PERSONNEL INFORMATION AND SHOULD BE WITHHELD FROM PUBLIC DISCLOSURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH 10 CFR 2.790 (A)(6).

Dear Sir:

On April 27,1999, the United States Enrichment Corporation (USEC) submitted to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) the Annual Occupational Exposure Report for PGDP and PORTS i

as required by 10 CFR 20.2206. Subsequently, USEC identified discrepancies in the information that was submitted to the NRC. These discrepancies are described below:

For Paducah, a discrepancy was identified with the reporting of the Committed Effective Dose Equivalent (CEDE) and the Committed Dose Equivalent to the Maximum Exposed Organ (CDE). The original report showed personnel who had been monitored for internal exposure, but who did not receive an intake, as "NR" for "Not Required for Monitoring."

Instead this should have been marked as "ND" for "Not Detectable." Although, in some ctses the personnel monitored for intemal exposure were not required to be monitored per regulations, PGDP uses "ND" to differentiate those that were monitored and didn't receive intakes versus "NR" for those that were not monitored.

For PORTS, a minor traposition error was identified involving dose assignments made to three individuals at PORTS during the generation of the 1998 REIRS report.

l Accordingly, USEC requests that NRC replace the information that was submitted in our letter of

{i April 27.1999 with the following information:
