COMPLETION OF REQUIRED ACTIONS UNDER CONFIRMATORY ORDER EA-19-071 RELATED TO U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION INVESTIGATION REPORTS 4-2016-022 AND 4-2017-023
Dear Dr. Bilger:
This letter acknowledges receipt of Reed Colleges letter from Mr. Stephen G. Frantz, Interim Reactor Director, dated June 10, 2020 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML20162A190). In the letter, Mr. Frantz notified the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) that Reed College had completed the required actions under confirmatory order (CO) EA-19-071.
The NRC appreciates Reed Colleges prompt attention in addressing the corrective actions agreed to during the alternative dispute resolution mediation held earlier this year. However, please recognize that the CO remains a part of Renewed Facility Operating License No. R-112, and that all actions required under the CO, including any ongoing obligations, are subject to inspection by the NRC.
